Our history
AL SHOLA ALMODEA Lighting Co. L.L.C SP was founded in 2011 from Industrial Area 7, Sharjah, with a focus on architectural and project lighting for the UAE market. The early years were spent building the specification discipline and supply network needed to serve consultants, developers and contractors at project scale.
The partnership with Luna Luce Italia anchored the catalogue, and the company became the authorised Luna Luce Italia dealer for the Emirates. Geographic coverage grew with the project base — from Sharjah into Dubai and Abu Dhabi, then across Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah — so every emirate is now served directly from the Sharjah operation.
Our process
Consultation starts the project. Whether the brief comes from a developer, design consultant, main contractor or end client, the team takes the photometric, design and budget requirements and translates them into a specification supported by the Luna Luce Italia catalogue. Sample fixtures, alternative options and clear specification documentation are produced at this stage.
Supply follows. Project quantities are issued from the catalogue with confirmed lead times and consolidated delivery to UAE sites. Substitutions, finish coordination and additional accessories — drivers, profiles, mounting hardware — are handled by the same project team that supported the specification phase.
Installation is carried out by AL SHOLA ALMODEA's in-house UAE team, working alongside the project's electrical and MEP contractors. Aiming, commissioning and on-site adjustments are part of the scope, so the lit result matches the design intent before handover.
Post-installation, the 3-year warranty and after-sales support cover the asset's first phase of service. Replacement units are issued from UAE stock where available, and the same project team handles warranty calls — there is no handover to a separate after-sales channel.

Dedicated UAE distribution rights mean project quantities, lead times and warranty claims are handled directly. There is no intermediary distributor in the supply chain between the project and the manufacturer, which keeps the relationship — and the accountability — clean.
