AL SHOLA ALMODEA designs, supplies and installs lighting — all three, on every project, from one company. What changes between a villa, a mosque and a shopping centre is rarely the fittings. It is the one constraint that decides everything else, and finding it early is most of the job.
On a tower interior that constraint is repetition: one apartment type is drawn once and built on every floor it appears on, so a downlight spacing is never one ceiling. On a public landscape it is the opposite. Most of the site should stay dark, and the design is what you leave alone. In a shopping centre the corridor sits deliberately below its tenants, or every shopfront looks flat. In a mosque it is the neighbours’ windows and the prayer calendar.

Walkways, plazas and planting at development scale, where the first decision is which parts of the site are going to stay dark.

Display floors, service workshops and exhibition structures, lit so the merchandise reads, the faults show, and the fittings do neither.

Circulation, atria and facades for shopping centres, where the landlord’s scheme has to sit deliberately below its tenants.

Arenas, indoor schools and training floors, judged on uniformity across the surface and on glare from two quite different eye heights.

What we light, and with what
Each sector draws on a different part of the catalogue. These are the product categories AL SHOLA ALMODEA specifies and installs.
Tower elevations and large frontages call for external and façade lighting with flood fittings that give a building a coherent night-time identity while keeping spill and upward light controlled.
Living spaces are layered from recessed downlights and directional spotlights, with chandeliers and pendants as feature pieces — warm, dimmable and glare-controlled.
Grounds and gardens are picked out with discreet up-lighting and pole and bollard fittings that light planting, paths and water features without flattening the scene.
Roads, access ways and shared surfaces are lit from poles and columns, with flood lighting for open areas — even, glare-controlled coverage built for long unattended service.
Fitness floors and display retail need high-output, even light: industrial fittings for volume, with spotlights and flexible track lighting to pick out equipment and merchandise.
Prayer halls and heritage frontages call for restraint: external lighting and architectural up-lighting that emphasise form and calm without harsh glare.
How the work gets delivered
The brief — from a developer, consultant, contractor or end client — becomes a specification drawn from the Luna Luce Italia catalogue, with sample fixtures and alternatives at this stage.
Quantities are issued with confirmed lead times and consolidated delivery to site. Substitutions, finishes and accessories stay with the team that wrote the specification.
Our in-house team installs, working alongside the electrical and MEP contractors. Aiming, commissioning and on-site adjustment are in scope.
A 3-year warranty follows handover. Replacements are issued from UAE stock where available, by the same team — no separate after-sales channel.
